Deeply experienced in various areas of government work, Mr. Leonard "Len" Luterbach currently serves as a Program and Policy Analyst for the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC). In this position, Leonard Luterbach plays an instrumental role in analyzing and advising officials on the effectiveness of the OCC's Information Risk Management program. Highly knowledgeable in the activities, policies, and objectives of OCC programs, as well as the methods and techniques for assessing and improving organizational effectiveness and program development, Leonard Luterbach has proven himself an integral member of the team at the OCC. For his significant contributions, Leonard Luterbach has received several awards, including one for his work on the development of a communications framework for institutional capacity building. Additionally, Leonard Luterbach received the 10-Year Government Service Citation. Prior to joining the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency, Leonard Luterbach served as a Program Manager for the BSC/CIAN. A skilled leader, Leonard Luterbach oversaw the everyday operations of the Computer Incident Response Center (CIRC), which provides information technology (IT) security analysis and support to the OCC. Leonard Luterbach advised senior-level OCC managers on IT Security and ensured the processes remained within the allowances of the Federal Information Security Management Act of 2002. Combining his extensive knowledge of information assurance with his varied communication skills, Leonard Luterbach also wrote and contributed to a number of official documents for the OCC. Over the course of his professional career, Leonard Luterbach has also held positions with the United States Central Command, the Chief of Naval Operations, and Helicopter Anti-Submarine Squadron Four. Leonard Luterbach laid the foundation for his professional success as an undergraduate at Georgetown University, where he studied Public Policy. Committed to academic excellence, Len Luterbach graduated cum laude with his Bachelor's degree in 2005. In 2007, Leonard Luterbach returned to his alma mater to study Communication in Organizations. The course, which focused on executive development, assisted Leonard Luterbach in honing his leadership and management skills. Passionate about giving back to the community, Leonard Luterbach supports a variety of charitable organizations, including the Wounded Warrior Project, American Red Magen David for Israel, and the Women's Law and Policy Fellowship Program. Len Luterbach is also involved in programs such as the Smithsonian Young Benefactors and is a registrant for the C.W. Bill Young Marrow Donor Center. In his limited spare time, Len Luterbach enjoys playing sports, hiking, traveling, and reading. Mr. Leonard Luterbach currently resides in Arlington, Virginia.
